Its Showtime, Baby! The 2008 Florida State Fair February 7 - 18, 2008. The Fairgrounds’ 355-acre site in eastern Hillsborough County, at Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 301, hosts world-class equestrian competitions, consumer shows, and numerous livestock exhibitions every week of the year. Agricultural Museum  Its on-site rural Florida folklife museum, Mildred W. and Doyle E. Carlton, Jr. Cracker Country, entertains and educates guests about turn-of-the-century life in Florida year-round.

The Florida State Fairgrounds is also home to the Ford Amphitheatre outdoor music venue.
